Cross Bay Walk 2024

Support Pendleside Hospice by taking part in the Cross Bay Walk. Walkers will be able to experience the thrill of tackling one of the region’s most beautiful walks, whilst raising money to support people across Burnley and Pendle when they need it the most.

Registration costs £15 for adults, £10 for children and £5 for dogs. This will include a free t-shirt for adults and children and a free bandana for your dogs.

Join with your family, friends, or even on your own – everyone is welcome! The walk will start promptly at 10.30am, but we ask that walkers ‘check in’ with staff from 9.30am.

The walk is from Arnside to Kent’s Bank railway station and is around 8 miles long. Adults must be prepared to carry children (and dogs!) when they are tired and when water may be too deep for them to cross. The terrain is unsuitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Walkers are asked to arrange their own transport at the end of the walk.
