SUMMARY:Sunrise to Sunset - Summer Walking Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Pendleside Hospice is teaming up with Burnley Leisure & Culture to present the Sunrise to Sunset Summer Walking Challenge on Wednesday 19th June.\nWe’ll be walking around Barden Athletics Track from sunrise to sunset on Wednesday 19th June to raise money and awareness for Pendleside Hospice as well as Burnley Leisure & Culture\, in partnership with Six Connections! \nWhy don’t you join us by taking on this incredible challenge? You can take part by walking from sunrise to sunset\, or you can come along and support a walker for a portion of the day. \nTo sign up for this event in aid of the hospice\, please email Leah Hooper at leah.hooper@pendleside.org.uk in order to receive your sponsorship pack and be officially registered. Sponsorship packs include sponsorship forms and fundraising support\, a running vest or t-shirt\, supporter bang sticks and a Pendleside snood. \nOnce registered\, another great way to raise sponsorship is to set up a Just Giving page. Using Just Giving is an easy way to gain donations from your supporters without having to handle any cash or paperwork. Donors can also claim 25% in gift aid back from the government\, meaning more money for the hospice. This year\, Pendleside’s annual running costs are £5.5 million which means every penny counts.
